Presenter Ruth Terray spent over 25 years in IT for large insurance companies before transitioning to entrepreneurship after being laid off in 2011. She purchased a Budget Blinds franchise, which she ran out of her home at first, then quickly scaled to over $1 million in sales by year three, earning "Rookie of the Year" honors. After selling the business in year five, she joined Budget Blinds' corporate team as a business coach and later became Director of Operations, overseeing 400+ franchise owners across North America. Now working with “The You Network” as a Franchise Coach and Consultant, she leverages her 30+ years of experience to help corporate executives and entrepreneurs explore franchise ownership as a career or investment opportunity. A passionate advocate for business ownership, Ruth also volunteers with SCORE, providing guidance to entrepreneurs and small businesses.
