Watercolor Display by Mary Horrigan

Description

Now on display at the Marlborough Arts Center are watercolor paintings by local artist Mary Horrigan. The public can view them when the gallery is open, or by contacting Mary at mehorrigan@comcast.net for a private viewing.

A sale of Mary’s paintings will be open to the public and will take place on Saturday, April 12th and Sunday, April 13th from 10 AM to 4 PM each day.

Mary Horrigan is an elected member of the Connecticut Watercolor Society and the Connecticut Academy of Fine Artists. She holds associate memberships in the New England and American Watercolor Societies. Locally, she is a member of the Marlborough Arts Center (currently serving on the Board of Directors as Membership Chairperson) and the East Hampton Art Association.

She has had numerous exhibits throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts and is the recipient of many awards. She has taught watercolor classes for the past several years.

Her background includes watercolor workshops with nationally recognized watercolorists Edgar Whitney, Marilyn Phillis, Frank Webb, Janet Walsh, Janet Rogers, Joel Popadics, and Charles Reid.
