Retail Branch Management Trainees Join the Chelsea Groton Team

GROTON, Conn. – Chelsea Groton Bank recently hired three new team members, and transferred one existing member of the team into a new Retail Branch Management Training Program. 

Program participants will endeavor on a 12-month hands-on training program where they will work with customers, prospects, and team members from across the bank, and also participate in self-study in order to develop as bankers and leaders.  

“We are excited to start our first class of Retail Branch Management Trainees,” said Rebecca Magner, VP, Learning & Development at Chelsea Groton Bank. “This program is designed to be both instructor-lead and self-taught so watching participants grow into their banking careers will be highly rewarding. The individuals selected to participate in the program are motivated, asking questions, taking initiative, and eager to learn all aspects of banking.” 

Ryan Imbriglio of Westerly, RI 

A recent graduate of Assumption University, Ryan Imbriglio received a bachelor's degree in finance and Spanish. While enrolled, Ryan led the college’s Rocket League Esports Team and was also a peer mentor for the Special Olympics Bowling League. Before joining Chelsea Groton, Ryan gained over ten years of experience in leadership working as a karate instructor at Kiefer’s Martial Arts in Westerly.  

Alexandra Michelson of Mystic, CT 

Alexandra, a graduate of Harvard University with a bachelor's degree in liberal arts, brings 10 years of experience in the service industry and event management. Before joining Chelsea Groton, Alexandra worked as a Sales & Leasing Consultant at Valenti Volkswagen. When not working, Alexandra enjoys sharing her musical talents as a singer.  

Yahbriel Roman of Groton, CT 

Yahbriel graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Administration in business with a concentration in management. Before joining the program, Yahbriel was a shift supervisor at Starbucks. Prior to that, he completed an internship with Chelsea Groton Bank at the Waterford branch. Yahbriel also actively volunteers in his community at the Church of the City in New London and is conversational in Spanish. 

Hennessy Sebastian of Bozrah, CT   

Hennessy has been a Float Customer Solution Representative at Chelsea Groton since September 2023.   She brought with her over six years of experience in the retail industry, and has been a proven leader with excellent customer service. Hennessy earned a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute.
