CT River Valley Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Sean Michael Peoples, Esq. to Board of Directors
Glastonbury, CT – [March 10, 2025] – The CT River Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of Sean Michael Peoples, Esq. to its Board of Directors. With an extensive background in law, government service, and community leadership, Sean brings a wealth of experience that will further enhance the Chamber’s mission to support local businesses and economic growth.
Sean currently serves as Glastonbury-Hebron Probate Court Judge, a position he has held since 2015. He is also a Partner at Brown Paindiris & Scott, LLP, where he has practiced litigation for over 30 years. His legal expertise spans litigation, workers’ compensation, probate, and residential real estate, making him a valuable resource for the Chamber and its members.
Beyond his legal career, Sean has a strong record of community service and civic engagement. He has served on the boards of multiple organizations, including the Glastonbury Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club of Glastonbury, Friends of Glastonbury Rowing, and the YMCA. Sean also has been serving as the Assistant Crew Coach for Glastonbury since 2011. He is actively involved in the East of the River Chamber of Commerce’s Government Affairs Committee, where he has provided legal counsel and insight on legislative matters impacting local businesses.
Sean’s leadership extends beyond the business community, with service in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, the U.S. Navy League, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as an arbitrator. His deep ties to Glastonbury and the surrounding region, coupled with his commitment to public service, make him an excellent addition to the Chamber’s Board.

Sean holds a Juris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire – Franklin Pierce School of Law, a Master’s degree in History from Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s degree in American History & Hispanic Studies from Connecticut College.
